Reformer Pilates Studio, Notting Hill, London
Mazon Flooring were appointed to install new flooring at a Reformer Pilates studio in Notting Hill, London. The project used Floorify Caramello rigid click LVT, installed directly over the existing LVT floor. By retaining the existing floor, unnecessary uplift was avoided, helping to reduce disruption and installation time.
The Brief
The existing LVT floor remained in place and was suitable for overlay installation. Localised repairs were required where fixtures had previously been removed, while a ramp area required building to match the existing floor levels before installation could continue.
Our Solution
Following an inspection of the existing floor, our team completed the necessary localised repairs before beginning the installation.
The works included:
- Localised repairs to the existing LVT floor.
- Preparation of the floor ready for installation.
- Installation of Floorify Performance Underlay.
- Installation of Floorify Caramello rigid click LVT.
- Finishing the perimeter with a solid oak flat bead.
Floorify’s rigid click system allowed the new floor to be installed directly over the existing LVT floor, removing the need for a full uplift.
The Result
The completed installation provides a durable, low maintenance flooring solution with the appearance of a real timber floor.
The long plank format and realistic texture of Floorify Caramello create a natural wood look while offering the practical benefits of rigid click LVT.
The installation was completed within one day.
