Arthur Road – Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) Flooring Installation

Mazon Flooring were proud to work alongside ProBuild360 on the complete renovation of a prestigious property in Edgbaston, Birmingham. This extensive project involved the full modernisation of every room in the house, including new kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, family rooms, and the installation of underfloor heating throughout.

The Brief

The clients wanted a home that balanced timeless style with durability and practicality. They sought a flooring solution that would complement underfloor heating, deliver a luxury aesthetic across multiple rooms, and offer both design flexibility and long-lasting performance.

After visiting our showroom, the clients selected a variety of designs from our trusted supplier, Invictus Flooring, choosing a mix of luxury vinyl planks and tiles in both plank and herringbone formats.

Our Solution

Mazon Flooring carried out a full-service installation, including:

  • Sub-floor preparation across multiple areas – grinding, applying damp-proof membranes, and levelling with smoothing compound.
  • Installation of LVT planks and herringbone patterns across the majority of the ground floor.
  • Creation of a showpiece entrance hallway with an ornate tile-effect LVT, framed with wood plank-effect LVT to tie seamlessly into adjoining spaces.
  • Fitting Highland Oak Chocolate parquet and plank LVT to most of the ground floor.
  • Installation of Highland Oak Roasted parquet and plank LVT in the loft store room and study.
  • Laying of luxurious carpet in bedrooms, landings, and stairs for warmth and comfort.
  • Use of low tog underlay beneath carpets to maintain the efficiency of the underfloor heating system.

The project required close coordination with other trades working on site, and our team managed every stage of the flooring installation to deliver a smooth, high-quality result.
