Herringbone wood floor sanding in Bromsgrove
Mazon Flooring were called in to undertake the floor sanding and restoration on a 27 year old herringbone parquet wood floor in Dodford near Bromsgrove
Upon the initial inspection visit with the home owner, we discussed the look and overall finish required, and the time involved in competing the work.
We also discussed with the client few areas where the floor had lifted from the sub-floor and popped up around the edges due to expansion and potential water damage.
During the uplift and installation of the edge blocks, we used an adhesive that is compatible with the old bitumen adhesive that had been used to install the original job.
Wood floor sanding work takes time, patience and a thorough approach.
