Havwoods engineered wood to a London office

Mazon Flooring were contracted to install over 200sqm of Havwoods engineered purelank wood flooring to an office in Mayfair, London.

Whilst on site, we were also asked to create several hatches to allow future access to specific raised access flooring panels.

Mazon Flooring were also asked to provide a solution so that the flooring could be used to cover up the external face of the plug socket boxes. We achieved this by taking some of the wood flooring off site and putting it through a thicknesser machine to leave a 5mm thick piece of wood, that could be inserted in to the top of the box.

Mazon Flooring were also asked to provide a solution to a ramp leading down to a lift on the floor, which we edged with metal strips and fully stuck the panels down on the ramp to make sure they were secure.

Due to the location of the site and access issues, we had to work together with the main contractor to ensure a high quality and timely finish.
