Plank effect carpet tiles to a communal landing in a new build apartment in Birmingham

Mazon Flooring were chosen by award winning Birmingham based building company Pro Build 360, to supply and install carpet tiles for the communal areas in their new build apartment development in hall green.

We were given the scope to find a hard wearing carpet tile that didn’t look like a standard carpet tile, something that would give more of an air of refinement and luxury.

After some deliberation, it was decided that the best option from a cost, durability and design viewpoint would be to install a plank effect carpet tile in a 100cm x 25cm format. This type of carpet tile gives a completely different look and feel to communal spaces and removes the level of formality sometimes provided by carpet tiles.
