Harvey Maria Neisha Crosland Parquet Charcoal to a boardroom in Birmingham

Mazon Flooring were asked by Pro Build 360 to present flooring options for a new board room they were designing and installing at their Birmingham showroom. After discussing styles and requirements, we presented them with the Harvey Maria range of designer vinyl flooring. The parquet range designed by Neisha Crosland immediately struck a cord, and the decision was made to have a centre piece design in Harvey Maria vinyl, and a border using Karndean Opus Carbo.

The installation required first applying a 10mm coating of screed over the top of an electric under floor heating system, to give a smooth, flat surface and conceal all of the wire. The next stage was to plan out the central insert, making sure to take account of the size of the room and any furniture going in. The decision was made to centralise the design with a recessed ceiling in the board room, and to match this feature. Once the central feature was installed, the Karndean Opus Carbo planks were installed around the perimeter, to frame the design.

Both the Harvey Maria and Karndean Opus ranges come with a commercial warranty, and are suitable for heavy duty usage. The finished results speak volumes for the quality of the products used, and the resulting aesthetics that can be achieved.
